Our founder, Erlene, is a highly skilled and qualified hairdresser with twenty years of experience in the industry. Her journey began with acquiring qualifications from the esteemed Heart School of Cosmetology in Jamaica and Thomas Danby College in Leeds, UK.

In May 2011, Erlene’s passion for hairdressing led her to establish Erlene’s Hands On Hair Beauty Salon in the vibrant hub of Harehills, Leeds. Guided by her faith and driven by her love for the craft, Erlene’s salon quickly gained popularity and became a trusted name in the community. Over the years, her loyal clientele continued to grow, inspiring Erlene to expand her services in 2018.

Today, Erlene’s Hands on Hair Beauty Salon has transformed into a one-stop shop, offering an array of hair and beauty products alongside our exceptional salon services. We take pride in specializing in afro Caribbean hair and beauty products, ensuring that our Christian community has access to the finest products available in the market.
